So, I had this grand idea that I would have a girlie sleepover party. I thought my daughter would love to have her two older cousins to join us. Because I like to put crazy deadlines on myself, the night before they came over I decided I wanted to make them cute girlie aprons that looked like dresses. So, having never made them before and without a pattern (just the idea in my head) I went to JoAnn's, bought fabric and went home to got to work. I made one for each of the girls and for myself.
I'll post a better picture of the apron later.
We all walked to the Dollar Store and picked up some jewelry and nail polish (what else would we get for a girlie sleepover). Well, we did look for princess crowns but they didn't have any. So we want back home and I broke out my crafting supplies and we made crowns. I think they turned out pretty well! The picture of them on the other hand, well you try to take a picture of these three girls with my slow shooting camera and see what you get!The next day we took a trip to the zoo. I love having a membership and getting in for free! We had a great time, but we were ready for a child-free night after all that. (special thanks go out to my mom for having Ella for an overnight and to my wonderful husband who joined in on the girlie festivities!)
