Accessories

So I decided to try my hand at some more flowers.

This one I made to match Ella dress for her Birthday party.

I'm thinking about trying to get a bunch together and see if I can sell them at my mother's garage sell. It would be my first real attempt at selling my crafts. I enjoy making these because they are something I can actually finish in one sitting and right now that's all I can handle :).

adding doilie stencil toTote bags idea

So I was searching out ideas on the internet and found this great sight with an awesome idea ashleyannphotography.com to use doilies as a stencil on a canvas bag. So because I don't have any extra bags to try this on and the bag I started, I left at church, I did it on a scrap piece of canvas.

So this is what I started with as a stencil:
This is what I have a now.

Ella wanted to help model it, while giving a kiss. She gave me an idea for a T-shirt too!

So I got a package of 25 Doilies for a dollar! Pretty good idea, right? I'm getting excited to do this craft at MOPS!

Cupcake Tower

So saw this idea for a cupcake tower and thought it was cute.
U-create Cup Cake Tower . I made a little more basic one, but I think it's cute! Let hope it looks even better with some cupcakes on it (or maybe cupcake balls? I have to look into that).

Monogrammed Tote Bags

No, I'm not trying to promote tap dancing, TAP are my initials. I think the monogramming turned out pretty well. It was really easy, I used Stencil Magic Paint Creme. I was afraid that it would be messy because I didn't tape the stencil or anything to keep it from moving, but holding it in place work just fine.

make tote bag with lining for 75cents

So I know it looks like I haven't been doing anymore crafts lately but that is because I need to make 75 tote bags. I think this is a really big task that I probably should not have taken on (thank God for the MOPS leadership who said that they could help) because I also have Ella's birthday coming up but I like cheap crafts that look good and in order to get this I had to make the bags myself. I am making the bags for about 75 cents each, thanks to the great clearance prices and 50% coupons at JoAnn Fabrics. So I'm going to have my mops girls monogram them. I just bought paint and stencils today to try it out. So any mops girl reading my blog, this is your sneak peek.

2nd Birthday Invitations

So I have completed the invitations. I'm thinking of ideas for cake toppers and a Happy Birthday sign.

Homemade 1st Birthday Supplies

So my next task is going to be to create Birthday invitation for my daughter, Ella. She is turning two in may. I made all her decorations for her party last year and want to do the same for this year. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the cupcakes with the little toppers I made for them. I have a clear memory thinking that it would fun to be a cake decorator (before I had ever tried) after decorating the cupcakes I changed my mind!

I think I'm going to use the same layout for the birthday invitation as last year because I liked it and it was easy!
These are the papers I bought to work with:

Spring/Summer Wreaths

I decided to try my hand at wreath making. It's a fairly inexpensive craft to make as a gift. The 3rd and 4th wreath are actually the same wreath that I decided to change up, the fourth being the redo.
